1. Worldwide debut of ECHORING’s System On Module

Check out our first-ever demonstration of EchoRing’s System on Module (SOM) here!

The device will be presented at SPS in Nuremberg from November 26 to 28, 2019 at Booth 5-250. Stop by and see how this humble circuit board can replace huge volumes of cables in a wide range of applications.

2. A testimonial from one of our valued clients.

Christian Bergner, Head of Engineering, LJU Automatisierungstechnik GmbH

My name is Christian Bergner. I am Head of Engineering at LJU Automatisierungstechnik GmbH in Potsdam, which has been a subsidiary of Conductix-Wampfler GmbH from Weil am Rhein since 2018. Conductix-Wampfler is one of the world’s leading suppliers of energy and data transmission systems for mobile machines and plants.

LJU is a pioneer in automation technology and has been involved in control technology for industrial conveyor systems for over 30 years. During this time, we have delivered more than 150,000 units to over 1,000 customers in various industries worldwide.

In the course of the digital transformation in automation technology, I was looking for an innovative and future-oriented solution for wireless communication under hard real-time conditions. Here I came across the multi-award-winning EchoRing solution from R3-Reliable Realtime Radio Communications GmbH. The innovative concept, the efficiency of EchoRing, the technical expertise of the employees as well as the friendly, comprehensive, and fast support in the preparation of a first test convinced me of R3 and EchoRing.

In an initial joint project, we will use an evaluation kit to exchange safety-related signals between stationary and mobile safety controllers. Furthermore, we are in discussions with R3 about the first joint project. In this project, we want to use EchoRing in a battery-operated transport system to exchange process-relevant and safety-related data. I am convinced that EchoRing is the ideal solution for this task. No other free radio system offers these short and deterministic communication times.

We will be presenting with Olympus Sky, another young startup founded in 2014. Headquartered in Poland and with a branch in the US, the company’s unique security solution serves an entire suite of security needs within the IoT world. R3 itself relies on Olympus Sky for product security, a top concern for any industrial network. Give them a look to see if they can improve your application as well.
