data collection and use of personally identifiable information
Collection. We collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, surname, email address and your industry directly from you when you choose to enter it into forms on our website, for example through the “Join the Wireless Revolution!” or “Contact” forms.
Use. We use this information for the purpose of responding to the request or inquiry you have submitted to us through the contact form or another entry field, to initiate business or perform under a contract (based on Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR). We also use this information for our own marketing purposes (based on Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR), such as to send you the requested newsletter or other promotional emails. To do so, we enter the data you have provided into our CRM system. At times, we might invite you to an event, which we believe you could benefit from or contact you via the email address you provided to expand our business relationship.
You may at any time revoke your consent and choose to stop receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any of these communications.

Newsletter. If you request our newsletter, we will regularly inform you on our products and campaigns. We use a double opt-in procedure to subscribe. Should you confirm your email address, we shall store your email address, the time of registration and the IP address used for the registration until you cancel the newsletter. This serves only the purpose of sending you the newsletter and providing evidence of your registration.
In our newsletter, we use technologies to measure interaction with the newsletter (e.g. opening of the e-mail, links clicked). We use these data in aggregate form for general statistical evaluations and to optimize and develop our contacts and customer communication. This is done with the aid of embedded graphics (pixels). We do not combine this data with personal data. The legal basis for this is our foregoing legitimate interest under the terms of Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. We wish to share topics with you that actually are relevant and try to better understand the interests of our readers. If you do not wish your use pattern to be analyzed, you may cancel the newsletter or disable graphics in your email program at any time. The data relating to the interaction with our newsletter is stored pseudonymously.
You may cancel the newsletter at any time. An unsubscribe link is placed in every newsletter. A message to the contact details given below or in the newsletter also is fine. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR.
Information Sharing. We do not share your information with third parties for their promotional purposes. We may share your information with affiliated companies and trusted third party service providers working under the instruction of R3, such as an email service provider, hosting provider or data center, exclusively for storage purposes. Such third parties who provide services on our behalf are authorized to use your personal information only as strictly necessary to provide these services to us.
Others’ Websites. Our site includes links to other websites whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any website you visit.

data security and retention
The security of your information is fundamental to R3. We have implemented physical and technical industry standard security measures, which include the use of firewalls and encryption to protect your personal information. However, as no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any further questions about the security of your personal information, you may contact us at contact[at]r3coms.com.

As an EU resident (however we provide these same options to non-EU residents), you may:

If you exercise one (or more) of the above-mentioned rights, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, you may request to be informed that third parties that hold your personal information, in accordance with this Policy, will act accordingly.
- You may ask to transfer your personal information in accordance with your right to data portability.

Since we have to verify your identity for those purposes, we do favour postal queries to R3 – Reliable Realtime Radio Communications GmbH, Bismarckstrasse 10-12, 10625 Berlin. If necessary, we will request proof of your identity before processing your concern. This serves to protect your data from manipulation or deletion by third parties.
We reserve the right to disclose or transfer your personal information as required by law (based on Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR), as part of a merger, acquisition, dissolution or sale of assets, and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change of ownership, uses of your personal information, and choices you may have regarding your personal information.
We may also disclose your personal information (based on Art. 6 (1) c) GDPR) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or respond to a government request. We may also disclose your personal information to any other third party with your prior consent.
